Hidden Reef Necklace & Earring Set

Part of the Lagoon Dreams Collection 2026, Hidden Reef is a one-of-a-kind necklace and earring set inspired by the colour, movement and mystery found beneath the surface of tropical lagoons.

The circular pendant combines turquoise, deep blue, green, violet and black in flowing organic patterns that may suggest coral, seaweed, shells, jellyfish or small reef creatures. The design is intentionally open to interpretation, allowing each person to discover something different within it.

Each piece has been handcrafted from polymer clay using finely sliced mokume gane shavings and mica powders. The surfaces have been carefully hand sanded, buffed and polished to achieve a smooth, high-shine finish. The necklace is completed with a stainless steel chain and distinctive silver-tone circular findings positioned 9 cm from the edge of the pendant. The matching earrings are fitted with silver-tone ear wires.

Because the pattern has been created entirely by hand, it cannot be reproduced exactly, making Hidden Reef a truly individual piece of wearable art.

The set is supplied with a professionally designed collection background sheet featuring the story, materials, measurements and care instructions, together with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity confirming that it is an original Shorelight Studio design, handcrafted in Scotland.

Artist’s Note

Inspired by the wonders I discover beneath tropical waters, I create each design to capture the colours, textures and movement I see while snorkelling. Within Hidden Reef, you may see a turtle shell, parrotfish, jellyfish, coral or swaying seaweed—but there is no right answer. Every person sees something different.
