A bold statement necklace inspired by the shifting colours and movement of the sea.
Gilded Tides features a dramatic 90 mm handcrafted polymer clay pendant, created using the mokume gane technique. Layers of deep indigo, turquoise and luminous teal flow across the surface, broken by sweeping flashes of warm metallic gold. An intricately textured golden surround frames the design, giving the piece an almost ancient, treasure-like quality.
Iridescent hematite beads introduce flashes of green, purple, blue and gold as they catch the light, beautifully linking the colours of the pendant with the silver tone of the stainless-steel chain.
The reverse is finished in rich deep purple and carries the Shorelight Studio maker’s mark, identifying it as an original piece handcrafted in Scotland.
