Inspired by the elegance and artistic spirit of the Belle Époque and Art Nouveau eras, this striking statement necklace is a celebration of flowing form, colour and craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Scotland by mixed media artist Susan Emmison, Belle Époque is individually created from premium polymer clay using layers of mica powders, hand-finished metallic detailing and a meticulous sanding and polishing process that reveals exceptional depth and luminosity. The satin-like surface is achieved entirely by hand through progressive sanding, polishing and buffing—never by a thick resin coating—allowing the artwork itself to shine.

Every curve, line and colour blend develops organically during the making process, ensuring that no two pieces can ever be identical. Rather than following a fixed pattern, each necklace evolves into its own original work of wearable art, making Belle Époque as unique as the person who wears it.

Suspended from a durable black stainless steel chain, the bold sculptural pendant is lightweight and comfortable despite its impressive size, making it equally suited to everyday elegance or special occasions.
